The game brings back the oldschool challenge with highly tactical real-time combat and grid-based movement,
devious hidden switches and secrets as well as deadly traps and horrible monsters. Legend of Grimrock puts
an emphasis on puzzles and exploration and the wits and perception of the player are more important tools
than even the sharpest of swords could be. And if you are a hardened dungeon crawling veteran and you crave
an extra challenge, you can arm yourself with a stack of grid paper and turn on the Oldschool Mode which

Legacy of Kain - it's not just five great games, it's a whole universe, the whole world born in late 1996. Events for all five games are in the fictional universe of Nosgoth - a world very similar to the culture and life of the medieval Europe. Its inhabit different races. But you will not find elves, gnomes, fairies and other cute creatures live there, vampires, demons, werewolves, mysterious people Hild?n and, of course, people. Well-being in Nosgoth is maintained by the colony, the nine pillars. Each column is a keeper. Keepers: intelligence, conflict, nature, death, time, measurements, states, energy and balance.

The plot begins with the murder of Ariel - the Guardian of Balance. Her body was found the Guardian Mind Napraptor. He falls into madness and it infects the rest of the Guardians, including a newborn new Guardian of Balance. This event was a complication of a complex, controversial subject throughout the series of games.
The series is divided into two branches, which are equally important. First: Blood Omen (Blood Banner), the main character is a noble Cain, who became a vampire and is the custodian of Balance, which took the place of Ariel. Second: Soul Reaver (Reaver), in which the player will learn the history of the demon Raziel - one of the vampiric sons of Cain.
